St. Luke’s former grade school consists of a three-story Classical Revival influenced main block with a two story addition. Marquette Manor is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Metroplains Properties, Inc. has strived to preserve all of the richness and history the building has to offer.
The project won the 2002 Wisconsin Main Street
award for the Best Reuse Project.
On September 1, 1901, St. Luke Parish purchased the block of land upon which
would house St. Luke School. 100 years later
- to the day - ownership of the land was transferred
to Metroplains Properties, Inc.,
which opened the doors to Marquette Manor, a beautifully restored historic landmark designed for affordable senior living.
